Debut Author, Debut Novel

Hi There, My name is Stuart Tidman - I'm a Coventry native (born there, grew up, went to the University, lived there for years, support the Sky Blues for my sins too), and last year released my debut novel 'The Nicholas Duncan Mysteries - Everyday'. A brief biog about me is in the local author's section of this website. The book is a work fiction, set in Coventry back in 1973. It follows ten days in the life of a Detective Sergeant in the then Warwickshire Police over the Easter holidays, who is trying to catch a serial killer at large in the city, while trying to keep his own private life just that (the lead character is something that no-one would bat an eyelid at now, but back in the early seventies would have been hounded out of his job, despite him being highly trustworthy, honest and possessing high integrity. Detective Sergeant Nicholas Duncan is a homosexual.) The story also features attitudes and speech (which I have 'watered down') of the time, all of which are thankfully now a distant memory. The novel features many locations across Coventry - some still in existence, some long gone into history - with the Coventry Bees and the Sky Blues also appearing. If anyone has any questions, or even has taken the time to read the book (I'm extremely appreciative), I'll try to answer as best as I can.
