Alfiec, in 1901 Ernest E Batchelor, tent & sheet maker foreman, is living at number 13. In 1898 there is an advert for lodgings for one or 2 young men and in 1899 E Lander is advertising for a situation as a ladies clerk/shorthand typist. Over the next few years there are other ads for rooms to let. I can't make up my mind if the rooms are at number 13 or if it is some kind of agency for letting and jobs. There is another mention in an advert that the property has 4 bedrooms. It also seems to have close links with number 12 and 14. So far I cannot find any connection with Emma Brown. How do you know she was at that address in 1898?

Alfiec. Perhaps you could give more background to your enquiry that may provide a clue to Emma's time in Coventry. The address itself is not providing anything.

I am trying to find out about number 13 Union St, Coventry and who lived there around 1897/1900. Are there any records that I could locate?
