Yes, in 1939 she was at 14 Silverton Road Coventry, and is given as a widow, her husband Charles having died, I think in 1938.

Hi, she is still with us in 1960 as she is still listed at 14 Silverton Road.

Thanks for that, I think it more than likely that Roy Stanley Robinson had siblings, as there are births in the right time frame, in the right place, with the mother's name Amos, although none are mentioned on his obituary, so I am treading carefully, for fear of upsetting anyone at such a sad time.

To confirm you have the correct Charles, in the thanks column of the Midland Daily Telegraph, 30/5/1938. "The wife & son of the late Charles Robinson of 14 Silverton Road wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their sympathy, kindness & floral tributes in their sad bereavement".

Thank you for that. The son was Stanley, born at Grantham in 1902, he later lived at Sandown Avenue. The house was then obviously passed down to his son Roy Stanley Robinson.

Hi Del 80 I lived in Sandown Avenue for the first 26 years of my life. my parents lived there for most of their life. We lived directly opposite the Robinsons, Roy was an only child and never married as far as I am aware. AH

Alan. Thanks for that, I did wonder if he was the only child. There are three or four Robinson children with mother's name Amos on Ancestry, but I couldn't prove that they were his siblings. You have cleared that up, thanks.

Just wondered, did anyone else on here live at Sandown Avenue, and knew Stanley and Beatrice Nellie Robinson? Or did anyone live at Silverton Road? Lizzie Robinson, Stanley's mother, lived at no.14, it would seem for many years.
