I'm searching for any information about George Welch Rollason b.1902 West Bromwich and his son George Welch Rollason b.1927 Coventry. They were also known as either George Welch or George Rollason.
George senior is said to have played Rugby for Coventry probably before WW2 so I wondered whether there is anyone who knows if any records were kept. He served in the Navy during WW2.
He was also the licencee of the Trafalgar Arms Pub in Trafalgar Street Coventry during the 1950s. After he became disabled I'm told his daughter Jane and/or her husband Tony Foskin then took over the pub licence for a while in the 50s.
His son George Welch Rollason served in WW2 in the Army, may have married a woman named Ann and could have died in Essex in 1988.
I'd appreciate any information you think might be related to either of them. Thanks.
