Barr / Mainwaring family

One of them was connected to St Lawrence church and the other was near the congregational church but they don't have a name on the map.

Anne mentioned yesterday and looking at the papers I agree - one school was the Foleshill C of E School (at St Lawrence's church) and the other was called the Little Heath School.

Thank you for this, Helen. Were these elementary schools? If so, what schools were for the older children?

I'm not sure but I think the Foleshill CE might have been both.

My mother's family moved to Elkington Street, off Proffitt Avenue in the late 1930s and my mum attended Little Heath School.
