I am advertising on ebay a Freeman of the City of Coventry certificate in the name of Reginald Frank Lewis.... with no takers. Do you know of a relative who might be interested?

Hi estelle Having read your post and also your eBay listing. I just wanted to let you know, these certificates are not that rare and are treasured by the apprentices or their families that received them (I know that mine is). In its booming years of manufacturing, making cars, tractors, machine tools and many other trades, Coventry had many apprentices that would go on to receive one of these that was signed by the then current Lord Mayor. I see that Reginald was apprentice to an Accountant. Other than his family, this may be the route of the only other interest in this cert.
