Hi all, I am looking for any digitised versions of the sketchbook that (I think) was acquired by The Herbert in the past 10 years. Attached is a scan of one of the pages. Can anyone help? I am an architectural historian and I am trying to create a virtual rendering of the buildings in Broadgate before their demolition - if I can do it, I'll share the image with you. Thanks all!

Hi cbazley and welcome. I cannot see an image attached however are you referring to Dr Troughton's images? There are some good digital renders done by Peter Knight on his terrific Coventry Rebuilt Website. Peter is a member on here.

Hi, welcome to the forum Wave They were on the internet at one point but they were gone last time I looked. They may appear on the Coventry Digital site? Some pop up now and then, along with the Bunney paintings.

Hi All, Thanks so much for responding. No, it's not Troughton, but by searching under his name on this site, I have found some other images from the sketchpad and the artist's name: who you will probably already know: William Henry Brooke. Here is a link from google to the auction company that had the sketchpad, the images are stunning - William Henry Brooke 'Coventry 1819'

They're back Thumbs up I did wonder if the Herbert objected and got them taken down but the auction site must have decided the Herbert didn't have exclusive rights to their photos of the paintings. Good to know.
