A new RE8 was being collected, for delivery to 37 Reserve Squadron. It crashed at Radford Aerodrome, in a spin. 2nd Lieutenant Arthur Boon, aged 22, from Buxton, Derbyshire, of 2/7th Battalion Manchester Regiment, was killed. He was buried at London Road Cemetery. |
