If only he did have his 'jewels' removed, that could have prevented his future son from destroying a lot of good real estate. ?

The Butts Technical College was officially opened by the Duke of York - soon to become King George VI. The citizens of Coventry were particularly grateful for the Duke's visit because he had lost his aunt, Princess Victoria, one week earlier. ( Note: I'd previously had this event recorded as the 19th December, but have just located a report of it in the Coventry Herald of Friday 13th December, as having occurred three days earlier - so the 13th proved to be lucky!) |

Might find the need to move me from here Rob but is IKEA favoured over there? I can't make my mind up!
On 16th Dec 2017 12:54pm, Rob Orland said:
Although Ikea is not widely liked for its architectural lack of style, and partly also for its awkward location, I think the store is actually fairly popular for shoppers. The main criticism it gets (and from me also) is that once you're in there..... you can't find your way out! They've designed it very cleverly to lead you round all the departments before allowing you to be released back into the wilds again!
