It seems silly given that it's a massive lump of impressive stonework but it's easy to miss when you're walking through the city. At eye level it's not that startling and sometimes doesn't draw your eyes upward. It's not so bad when walking toward Broadgate but in the opposite direction, your eyes are already on St Michael's spire and the cross takes a poor back seat. The first few times I walked past without noticing it. |

Glad to see members are observant as they go around our city. What sparked my interest was the fact that there is a similar shape over the Victorian entrance of my paternal grandfather's former home in Wandsworth.

Another modern building, but you need to be out of the city centre for this one.

I think it might be Network Rail on Westwood Heath Road Pixrobin. I noticed it on Wednesday when we were coming home from my brothers in Kenilworth and took the wrong turning in the fog and finished up coming past Crackley Woods and eventually finishing up on the A45 to get back to Tamworth ! |

Now I would have got that one, I worked on it briefly when it was being built. Then it was a regional office for, I think, a firm called Cable and Wireless. |

Familiar subject matter for me. It isn't the cathedral.

If memory serves me correct, is it on the front of the Council House, Pixrobin? |

As nobody managed to resolve the picture from St John's church in Fleet Street perhaps a more modern one will be easier.

On a slightly different theme, I spotted this fellow today whilst out for a walk. Don't know how long it's been there but the question is, where is it?
