St John the Baptist Church

Alas I can't find any reference to the tower although the size of the clock face helps. Thanks anyway.

There are some 'imps' carved into one of the columns of this church. Apparently carved by the same person who carved imps in Lincoln Cathedral.

It was more like this. Quite a ferocious looking thing! I have a photo somewhere.

I don't see a similarity to the Lincoln Imp anywhere, which is reputedly the devil, or at least a little one!

Well, I certainly missed that one Flapdoodle.

I only saw it because someone in the building pointed it out to me! It's at the top of a pillar. Photo is rubbish because it was taken using a digital zoom.

Morning All, I have just returned from a few days away and realise I can add to this subject, enjoy these two and I have others that I shall add when I find the best way to put them all on. i.e. I don't wish to use up all of the boss's allowance. Regards Derek.
