Helen / Anne. Thanks to my friend Cliff Berwick on FB, The CMC, pre-Swift so pre-1896? Cliff did not know where this was so I have passed on our info here if that's ok.
This is obviously the Cheylesmore view/face but I have added here due to our prior discussion on the factory.

Helen, do you think this is the same factory as per my post #210?

I think that you can see the walls in your photo on the right hand side of the LPS photo above, looking south. You can see the pattern of the wall without the windows. |

Neil, your picture 212 appears to be an interior wall, what do you think? It could be the wall on the right if the back of your picture, you can just see the bit left of a corner on the right in 212 on the 213 picture. |

What I can't get in 212 is the pavement and road in front, it must have been quite a narrow building. Where is the wall that would have fronted the pavement ? |

I was thrown by the same thing Anne but the long shot looking down LPS indicates that it wasn't narrow. Either it's an optical illusion or there were two ranges with a road in between and what you see in 212 isn't LPS. I'd favour the former explanation. |

I don't understand why you keep repeating these old photographs, photo 213 is the same photo as on 11 where it says it's the reverse angle! |

Rare image of the bottom of Little Park Street looking towards the centre. St John's Street corner is on the right. You can see the bones of a medieval building against the burnt out factory wall. It's from ebay, so grab it while you can.

I brought up the photo in 11 because it has the proof that Neil's photo is on the south west side of LPS. Some images look south, some look north. Sometimes one view is more instructive than the other. |

I didn't find the forum till 2014, and no matter how you look at the photo it is the same photo - sorry to be a thorn. |

It is the same photo Kaga. It's just easier to make a comparison if two photos are near each other. I wasn't saying that it was a photo unknown to us. |
