We know that this was pre 1883/4 because that was when they repaired the tower and spire. Thomas was there in the directories in 1874 and 1868 but I can't find a Pegg on either and he doesn't appear until 1886. So the photo is sometime between 1874 and 1883.
I must start a register of key landmarks like the tower for dating photos. |
