I was wondering if anyone has a link to something like a council statement or newspaper article etc, something that is a reliable source to find definite info. Particularly Middlemores.

Hello again Osmiroid and welcome to the Historic Coventry Forum I wasn't sure what you meant by "CPO" at first, I assume now you mean Compulsory Purchase Order? You could try searching here: Planning Application Search by entering Little Park Street in the search box but it will be an incredibly tedious task to read through all the search results. I believe Middlemore's is Nos 87-89 but I had no luck searching for that specific address.

Hello again Dutchman Yes, compulsory purchase order. That link seems unfortunately difficult to use as you say. I did see something in the past, I think it was the Herbert site but it seems to have changed into a worse site now.

Any ex workers reading this? I would love to read about Middlemores and what the company did or happened to it over the years..........especially what saddle models were made and when.......anything about Middlemores.

Thanks, it's a good article if I do say so myself! My specific interest at the moment is any bits and pieces of info that workers can add to the knowledge besides that which is already on the web.
