Dreamtime Perth Western Australia	203 of 1691 Sat 31st Dec 2011 5:05pm As we lived in Limetree Avenue at the time, we were nearer the Newlands pub and as I recall Pearks was more near that end across the road, mind you I am talking about the time in the early 40's and I was only knee high to a grasshopper! Would that have been on Tile Hill Lane ? Just had a look on Google and I can see that the pumps have not been pulled for the last time at The Newlands (yet) and there is a Bluebell Walk leading into the woods. I can see where Rothesay Road is and it is quite a walk to the woods. Glad to see there is still some greenery left in the area.

However, I was rather pleased to see The Newlands pumps are still working ! Forgive me if I get 'senior moments' now and again. It is gone midnight now down here and I do need my beauty sleep. Goodnight.
