I agree with all the comments. It was a good do, and thanks once again to charabanc for stumping up. It's odd how often people disagree about the opening time/s. About 3 years ago, my gym started opening later at 0630, which doesn't really give me enough time in the morning before work. I much preferred the 0600 start, and did that for years. Yet only last month, a regular member said "No, they never opened at 0600, it's always been 0630, and I've been coming here since it opened..." Well no, I have been going there since the year 2000, longer than he! And from 0930 until 1000 last Saturday, all ten of us, we certainly looked like a bunch of desperados.

Big thanks to RobThu from the Orland rabble, too, for a fine breakfast. Lovely enjoyable morning, plenty of good conversation and tasty nosh all round! It'll be great to repeat the experience early next year, hopefully with even more members along for the trip. Cheers I must also add, that Wetherspoon's service was first class - we were served within minutes of ordering with no compromise in quality.

Yes, apols for delayed thanks (work getting in the way!) but a smashing morning and special gratitude to Derek for the breakie tab. Very much appreciated. Thumbs up

I did get to the meet up, but only in time for the benediction. Nice all the same. Best wishes all.

Another lovely breakie and morning. Thanks all and especially Rob (for picking up the tab) and Bev for being an extra special hostess to us all!

Great to see everyone again this morning and a special Wave to see Helen. Safe trip back. And thanks to our Philip for the breakie treat and Mrs Orland for once again being hostess!

Hi all, The Supreme Team. Top secret, I'm now waiting for Oxford Diecast to produce a 1/72, Fiat 500.

I'm baaaaack! Unlike the trip down, the motorways were running cleanly and I got back after about 2 hours. It was a fantastic breakfast. I just needed longer with each of you. Sad As all I had to eat yesterday was one small sausage batch for breakfast and toast for dinner, boy was I ready. You're a wonderful guy, Philip. I'm absolutely pooped. Apart from two days in the Herbert archives, I braved the Swanswell Gatehouse on Thursday night and the Cook Street Gate on Friday night. Exciting and less scary than I thought. More later.

For those not aware of the 'Dream Team' Big grin L to R - that's me, Mandy and Steve (Rob's daughter and son), Helen, Derek (Robthu) and Sir Rob himself. Bev was also with us but missed the camera and our Philip was behind the lens. As Rob says, here's to the next one - have a great week all.
