And we say "carry on, Philip"
As an aside, I take it that the recent increased involvement with Hall Brooks indicates a satisfactory period with your eyesight? |

Hi MR,
Yes, in one word. I'm better able to detect the time to stop doing anything. A bit of a discipline, there's that word again. I do have to stop. |

I've had a shock this morning. My trousers went on a bike ride on their own.
They're on a drying cycle. Ha, ha, ha. Oh I've just choked. |

I don't know whether to say 'keep taking the pills' or 'stop taking those pills' Philip but a good morning to you either way |

The only way that photo could be more scary MR was if one of them was putting on a rubber glove. |

Good morning, Philip. I can't decide if those adverts demonstrate the power of advertising (we still remember them) or that advertising doesn't really work (I still don't like tea). |

Oh I love tea, Helen.
Weetabix with coffee this morning, though. I enjoyed mint tea with my toasted tea cake at M&S yesterday for elevensies. |

I recognise that not being a tea drinker for those born before the Millennials is an offence against the Nation. |

I'm a coffee in the morning, tea in the afternoon, person - with biscuits. As they say, you can take the girl out of Britain: |

Hi all, on a glorious weather morning.
I was tempted to say "happy & glorious", but reflecting on the misery of life for many folk around the globe, maybe stick to the weather, hey!
A full year on of my new status in life as a widower, yet I'm joyful. My morning chores completed, as I'm sat at my home front, watching the world go by. Not much, living at the end of a cul-de-sac. Four semis, or eight homes, that each have interaction with each other. That can't be bought!
Three of those homes, like mine, widowed. My duty comes into its own today, remember Mr. Walker at school telling mum that I was best at doing rubbish, so today is put out bin day. Tomorrow, all being well is bring bins back in day, hopefully!!!!
Full sun on the front of our home, so it's afternoon when I move around to the back & beyond.
The views from about halfway, looking in each direction

So, Coventry is just the ticket for me. I'm sat at front, no traffic noise, I could listen to a symphony.
When Pam was here, & during lockdown, she was often asked to read a portion of Scripture for recording on-line. Days like today, it was recorded from the outdoor snug. No interference whatsoever.
Good old Coventry.
The views from my Jack & Jill seat.
Have a good day all. Happy & glorious. (Hopefully) |

It's looking very glorious Philip , particularly like your little arbour. Even with a car, driveways can be too much paving and not enough living space. My front gets the sun in the evening and is a nice place to sit when it's cooler. Good neighbours are very important, something the authorities don't understand. I live on a road where people aren't very social but most would leap to help if asked. |
