Hello,
I had my ears dewaxed at my pharmacy today. Just the precision suction, no flushing fluid. That followed a week of olive oil spraying.
I hadn't gone deaf, but it's common following a big job that was done by Specsavers over a year ago, for a bit of wax build up. I notice very quickly if I have an imbalance between ears which hampers my feedback to what I'm playing. (Ok, a no brainer)!
Anyway, I'm just enjoying my cocoa with a slice of toast.
Night night all.

Hello,
One of the pantomime drama lines that I will always remember, (I hope) ;
"Oh, I'm so silly, Oh so silly" .
Our grocery order arrived half an hour ago, which after Angie had checked & put it all away, I went to retrieve my Greengrocers pineapple slice. I've one for tomorrow too.
Then I saw the Jersey royals.
I remember like it was yesterday, Lord Robens, (no politics please), addressing the opening session of my economics lesson with the statement.
"You may have arrived here with all manner of ideas about the economics of everyday life, but I've arrived here because of the humble potato".
It was almost the currency of Ireland until the potato famine in 1840...
I love food, ( you didn't know) the sight of a huge well prepared banquet sends me in to oblivion almost.
I cannot wait until lunchtime today, to have a few lightly boiled Jersey Royals with a knob of butter. Nothing else. I so enjoyed them just a short while back.
I usually have salad potatoes in the fridge salad container, which will sometimes end up sliced in a frying pan, cooked in butter. Yummy.
Love to you all.

Hello,
I've what's called hypertension crisis, or spikes. Two last week, one of which landed me in Walsgrave. Hopefully, no organ damage, but I'm on medication that tries to behave like a cruise control, one of these blocker things that only clicks in when needed. It's a stress condition, which to be blunt is almost an indictment to my faith. So I'm ordered to have complete rest which includes trolling the internet.
Coming on here is not trolling, but I'm on a holiday from forum formal duty for a bit. It's stressful, missing everyone on here. So here I am.
I had put on weight too, which all adds to the stew, but lovely care from my son & daughter-in-law, with all home cooking, has turned our home back into a care home.
Love to you all. I'm feeling so well just now. A mostly dry week until Friday. I got one day really wrong last week in my verbal forecast. |
