Some people in Coventry can see Rugby cement works on their TV screen - permanently !

I'm pretty sure that now we have switched to digital the problems associated with the Rugby Cement chimney causing reception "ghosting" have been resolved

Almost gone.

Sadly, the link in post 15 is no longer working. However, here are two pics of the views from the video (apologies for lack of quality, it was recorded on one of the first consumer VHS video cameras) taken in 1986. Both taken from the 11th floor of Coventry Point. The first is looking down towards West Orchards. Note the fountain is missing, the Police office is still in position, the Locarno tower has yet to be moved and West Orchards car parks top floor is pretty full. The second is looking towards what we now know as Central Six - with the old tax office still standing in the distance and the 'link' between the Barracks and Market car parks (in the foreground) is still in use.
