The motorcycle on the right, a 1958 Cotton 500cc, is still around according to the DVLA. Cotton Motorcycles was founded in 1918 by Frank Cotton, in Gloucester and ceased business in 1980.... I'm happy to be corrected, but I think the engine will be a J A Preston OHV (known as JAP Engines, used by a wide range of motorcycles manfacturers), with a good chance the motorcycle on the left is a similar if not the same variant.
