I'm free! ...................the piccy is taken with the photographer having their back to the exit/entrance to the upper level of the lower precinct. Mourn the passing of another great store. Right up until it closed they had some great stuff especially in their Home department.

I bow to you Neil, I got it wrong ! I used to get very confused in the Co-op changing from the different levels. I usually used to go in at the lower precinct if I remember correctly as that was the ladies clothes department but going towards the Corporation Street half I could easily get lost. My son and daughter in law recently stayed in an airbnb in the Co-op building.

Spot on Neil! Gold star! I too miss the Co-Op. It was the Co-Op in the lower precinct in 2019 just after they emptied it. It's now the Ground floor of the BHF. My Aunty worked there and loved it. Well done all though, good guesses (I can see why you'd think the Belgrade). Thanks for indulging in my silly nonsense hehehe
